At a time when the sun sets,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At a time when the day falls asleep,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At a time when the moon appears and the owls serenade;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another world ascents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

A world where nature comes to life,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A world where streams flow willingly,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A world where the skies sparkle with thousands of colors,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

his world; it’s night.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

Darkness rises like a raging wind,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shadows manifest with their long murderous hands,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And gently, peace returns and silence settles in<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like a thick veil that covers the scarecrows of the dark.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

A thousand sensations surround me: fear, worry, loneliness\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My instinct tells me to run towards the light;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Towards this being who welcomes me with open arms<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And protects me.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

But, I’m a frozen frame;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A cold soul that watches and observes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mystery of darkness that<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Already controls my heavy moves.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

I hear a thousand voices that circle me, but no noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Sounds intertwine in an eternal silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life resumes its course, and yet,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s as if time had suddenly stopped.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

Little by little, my eyes are getting used to the shadows,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 To the nothingness that I am forced to see,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To the terror that I am forced to glimpse,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To the voices that I am forced to ignore.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

I feel a presence;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She accompanies me in each of my very steps,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She drags me to the heart of the abyss,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this frightening immensity that attracts me.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

An extraordinary calm took hold of me,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A feeling of fullness that makes me wonder:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Do I find myself in a dream that I am allowed to see?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or is it only the night that gives me life?\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

She takes me in her arms, she caresses me,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She cradles me as one cradles a child to soothe him,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 And for the first time I smell<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A scent of love and simple freedom.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

The night is a dreaming poet,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A voice that whispers to deaf ears,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A friend who invites us to explore<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The unknown and its mysteries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

She only whispers to lending ears,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ears that are not afraid to listen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She says: \u2018Do you remember that other world,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This world of a thousand wonders in which you were born?\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
